On May 7, 2025, the NHC issued an Announcement on 11 Kinds of "Three New" Foods including Sakura polyphenols, which passed two novel food ingredients including Sakura polyphenols and six new varieties of food additives including Peroxidase.

The quality specification requirements of enzyme preparations for food industry should comply with the provisions of the National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Enzyme Preparations for Food Industry (GB 1886.174).

The quality specifications of this substance should be implemented in accordance with the NHC Announcement No. 8 of 2023 (except for Appendix D Information on Bacteria for the Production of Lacto-N-neotetraose), and the production bacteria information on the new variety of nutritional fortification substance is shown in the following table.
