A: At present, the relevant institutions at home and abroad have not formulated the standard methods and criteria for the identification of strain consistency. The identification of strain level should be based on the identification results of its phenotype and gene, as well as the source of strain. There are many methods for gene identification, such as average nucleotide consistency based on whole genome sequencing technology, single nucleotide polymorphism, multi-locus sequence typing of core genes and other widely recognized technologies, which can be used for the identification of strain level.
