CFSA| Solicit Opinions on 6 New Food Additives including Taurine

On December 8, 2022, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment publicly solicited opinions on a new variety of enzyme preparation for food industry — D-psicose 3-epimerase, a new variety of food nutritional fortification substance — magnesium lactate, a food additive with the scope of use expanded — ascorbic palmitate (enzymatic method), three food nutritional fortification substances with the scope of use and dosage expanded including vitamin B1. The deadline for comments is January 5, 2023.

Dosage and scope of use
