On December 13, 2024, the National Health Commission issued No. 6 of 2024 Announcement on 11 Kinds of "Three New" Foods including Camellia petelotii culture, of which the expanded scope of use of "(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt" and "steviol glycosides" declared by Antion were approved!

The quality specification requirements for enzyme preparations for food industry should comply with the provisions of the National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Enzyme Preparations for Food Industry (GB 1886.174).

One new variety of food flavoring substance

Chinese name: 4-羟基-2,5-二甲基-3(2H)呋喃酮

English name: 4-Hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3-(2H)-furanone

Function classification: food flavoring substance

One new variety of food nutritional fortification substance

Chinese name: 2'-岩藻糖基乳糖

English name: 2'-fucosyllactose, 2'-FL

Function classification: food nutritional fortification substance

The scope of use, usage and quality specification of 2'-fucosyllactose should be implemented in accordance with the NHC Announcement No. 8 of 2023 (except for the information on producing bacteria of 2'-fucosyllactose in Appendix C). The information on producing bacteria of the nutritional fortification substance is shown in the following table.
