Q: Which production date is marked on the product package of imported prepackaged food after domestic sub-packaging? Is the date marked when it was produced abroad? Or mark the date after domestic sub-packaging?

A: If the enterprise has obtained a food production license, produce and sell products at home, according to GB 7718-2011 National Food Safety Standard General Standard for the Labeling of Prepackaged Foods, "2.4 Production date (manufacturing date) means date on which the food becomes the final product, including packaging date or filling date, i.e., the date on which the food is placed (filled) into the package or container in which it will be ultimately sold", the sub-packaging date should be marked.
