NHC Issued a Letter of Soliciting Opinions on Standards (Draft)

On February 8,2021,NHC issued a Letter of Soliciting Opinions on National Food Safety Standards including National Food Safety Standard Nutritional Fortification Substances in Foods L-Carnitine Tartrate (Draft for Comments). These standards include 9 standards for nutritional fortification substances,3 standards for food products,9 standards related to physical and chemical test methods and procedures,3 standards related to microbiological test methods and procedures,and 2 standards related to production and operation specification. The deadline for soliciting is March 31,2021.

The most concerned standards in the Letter are food nutritional fortification substances,good manufacturing practice for infants and young children formula foods,and safety evaluation procedures for food strains. The following table demonstrates the more details about these standards.
