On August 19, 2022, China National Centre for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) solicited public opinions on 13 new varieties of food additives, which are 11 new varieties of nutritional fortification substances including L-Se-methylselenocysteine, and 2 food additives with the scope of use expanded—fumaric acid and sodium acetate. The deadline for comments is September 16, 2022.
